What a beautiful day it has turned out to be. I was worried we would be stuck inside for Easter, but mother nature wouldn't have it. Such a nice way to end such a glorious weekend celebrating Jesus.
Katy wondering what she will catch...could it be clothes, school things, an old shoe or money??
Keely's turn..is it going to be hair bows, lip gloss, On the Go Applesauce or money??
Look what the final thing was they caught.........Big Daddy Wags!!
A tradition my parents began with the grandkids many years ago was a fishing pond. The "old school" kind where you throw a stick (pole) over a tarp, sheet, wall (whatever) and catch a "fish" This year since my nephew as unable to attend, mom and dad didn't want to do it without him, but since it was a tradition, our girls flt they stll needed to have it. So, Jim as the "Big Daddy Fish" would "hook" an item onto the girls poles. Again, they had a blast!! We asked Katy if she will still be asking for the Fishing Pond when she is in middle and high school.........she said YES!!!!
Happy Easter from the Wagner's!

The Beginning
Well, after much procrastinating and wondering if I should catch up with the trend, I decided to begin my own blog. I am not sure how it will go.....a few of my friends (Jana) have the best blogs ever and I am afraid I won't be as witty as her!! But wittiness aside, I will begin sharing some of the "happenings" of our lives!!
I am pretty excited that we only have 19 1/2 days of school let. Jim kept recounting last night to make sure I was right. He and the girls get out 4 days after me. I think he kept recounting my days in hopes 1. mine would get as long as his 2. His would get as short as mine. Anyway.....the end of another school year is upon us.
We are beginning to make our summer plans, which at this point look like another week at Big Cedar Lodge and a road trip East. We will make the 10 hour drive towards to East Coast to visit Jim's oldest sister and family. We will be planning many stops along the way, including all college football stadiums we come across. Jim is excited to go to Ohio State University's stadium. I figured if we could make the 2600 mile roundtrip West last year, we could surley make the 1400 miles roundtrip East this year.
I am looking forward to sharing the "Witty Wagner Tales" through my blog. My next project will be figuring out how to upload some current pictures. My current profile pic is from 2 summers ago while on vacation in Florida. Oh how I wish I was there right now!!!!
For now-
